SAASMaine Rental Fleet

We are thrilled to have some of the new KWA KO:EVEs added to our rental fleet.  We are amazed (but not surprised) by their out-of-the-box performance.  They need literally nothing to be competitive.

Having and maintaining a competitive rental fleet has been our goal from day one.  We don’t think it’s fair to send a new player out into the field with some cheap AEG that is out-performed at every turn by players’ personal AEGs.  Getting only 50 or 100 feet of effective range is frustrating to anyone.  It’s bad enough that a rental player doesn’t “fit in” with players who have been playing for years, with their fancy camo and tacticool chest rigs, and their finely-tuned AEGs that consistently hit targets at 200+ feet.

KWA gets a lot of hate for having “proprietary parts”.  What these people don’t tell you is that *every* manufacturer has “proprietary parts”, even from replica to replica.  We’ve been inside a wide range of replicas from a wide range of manufacturers, and honestly, KWA doesn’t have any more proprietary parts than anyone else.  In fact, we view the proprietary parts in a KWA as upgrades to the decades old “TM Spec” system, and the parts that you may want to upgrade/repair in KWAs are non-proprietary and readily available at your favorite parts store.  Bear ran his KWA QRF Mod.1 in a mostly stock configuration for a year (only upgraded the spring for more joules, and the bucking to lift 0.32g BBs), and only added/upgraded it this past spring, mostly “just because”.

When KWA announced their EVE series, it grabbed our attention because they took their AEG 2.5+ VPS gearbox, the exact same one as the TK.45c, Ronin T6, QRF Mod Series, and Ronin 47, and wrapped tough polymer externals around it.  This has created a lightweight powerful unique-looking AEG that takes M4 mags… and checked off every box on our list of rental requirements, to include “ease of maintaining and repair”.  Oh, and they are not all that expensive… in fact, their price point is within the acceptable range for “starter AEG”.

We’re grateful to Dan at TacticalParts.com for always being there for us, and to KWA for building great AEGs.

KWA KO:EVE-4

KWA KO:EVE-4

While the KO:EVE-4 AEG may look like “just another M4”, we’ve made dramatic improvements to the overall design and feel of this game-changing AEG.

The high-strength, polymer receiver set and MLOK handguard is a full 1.5 lbs lighter than her sister AEG, the Ronin T6. The side charging handle allows for convenient hop up adjustment and the integrated pistol grip is optimized for maximum ergonomics. The KO:EVE-4 comes with KO’s new slim line vertical grip and maintains it’s compact footprint using KWA’s tried and true PDW stock. PTS Enhanced Polymer Sights, an all-new two-port muzzle brake, ambidextrous fire controls, and optional quick detach sling sockets front and rear round out the external package. The KO:EVE is compatible with standard M4 AEG magazines.

Internally, the KO:EVE-4 shares the same AEG 2.5+ VPS gearbox as the TK.45c, Ronin T6, QRF Mod Series, Ronin 47. Install a Gate TITAN electronic trigger unit and you have an ultra-responsive and lightweight polymer AEG with legendary KWA performance.

KWA KO:EVE-9

KWA KO:EVE-9The KO:EVE-9 AEG, the longer of KO EVE, is meant to rival the T10 without the kickback of our recoil system; it is a nod – and successor – to our original Ronin 10 SBR, with improvements to the overall design and feel such as the high-strength polymer receiver set and MLOK handguard. The weight is considerably lighter and well balanced. The side charging handle allows for convenient hop up adjustment and the integrated pistol grip is optimized for maximum ergonomics. The EVE-9 sports a milspec buffer tube with the popular PTS EPS stock for unparalleled battery storage options.

The KO:EVE-9 comes with KO’s new slim line vertical grip and maintains a sleek look and excellent battery space with the PTS EPS stock. PTS Enhanced Polymer Sights, a unique two-port muzzle brake, ambidextrous fire controls, and optional quick detach sling sockets front and rear round out the external package. The KO:EVE is compatible with standard M4 AEG magazines.

Internally, the KO:EVE-9 shares the same 2.5+ VPS gearbox as the TK.45c, Ronin T6, QRF Mod Series, and Ronin 47. Install your favorite aftermarket Gate TITAN ETU, and you have an ultra-responsive and lightweight polymer AEG with legendary KWA performance.
